Placement Process

Welcome To Modern Group Institutions

The placement process at our college aims to serve as a launching pad for students' professional journeys by linking them with top organizations from diverse industries. Our Training and Placement Cell (TPC) plays a crucial role in managing all facets of campus recruitment, ensuring that students are thoroughly prepared and employers gain access to competent, job-ready talent.

Internship/placement prep

The placement journey begins with pre-placement training, designed to equip students with the essential skills needed to excel in job interviews.

  • 1. The first step in the placement journey involves pre-placement preparation, which focuses on building the key skills students need to succeed in interviews.

  • 2. To join the placement drive, students must register with the TPC at the beginning of their pre-final or final year, based on their program.

  • 3. Clear communication of criteria like academics, attendance, and conduct ensures a transparent placement process. Students must follow all college placement rules and guidelines.

  • 4. TPC connects with companies across IT, finance, manufacturing, consulting, and core engineering, gathering job roles, eligibility, and selection details from interested recruiters.

  • 5. Campus recruitment drives are scheduled by the TPC throughout the academic year, based on mutual convenience of the recruiters and the institution.

  • 6. Companies may conduct pre-placement talks (PPTs) to introduce their organization, career growth opportunities, and selection process. They guide students in selecting suitable roles based on informed understanding

Selection Process

The selection process often includes multiple rounds—such as aptitude, technical, and personal interviews. Recruitment may be held on-campus, off-campus, or online, as per recruiter preferences.

Offer and Joining Process

Students who successfully clear all stages of the selection process receive job offers, formally communicated through official offer letters. The Placement Cell supports them in understanding the terms of employment and provides guidance throughout the documentation and onboarding process. Students are expected to confirm their acceptance of the job offers within the stipulated time. A 'one student, one job offer's rule is generally upheld to maintain equity and avoid hoarding, unless specific circumstances allow for multiple offers.

Support

Even after placements, the TPC continues to assist students by facilitating onboarding sessions and resolving queries related to joining formalities.
