Welcome To Modern Group Institutions
Our college offers more than just curriculum delivery-a journey of self-discovery and transformation. In order to make a noteworthy impact, students not only support themselves by learning some valuable skills but raise other communities by sharing those skills with other people.
By undertaking few volunteering activities such as educating local people, assisting in plant maintenance, teaching English as a second language, organizing or assisting in extracurricular activities for children-our students try to build their scope in outdoing grassroot level activities.
Our students are involved in a lot of meaningful causes during the course of the program. Assisting in blood donation programs or health programs for kids and elderly, setting awareness programs around recycling efforts and volunteering in stores that sell second-hand goods to raise funds for charitable causes are some of those popular causes, our students like to contribute further during the course of their program.
These actions bring renewed energy to both neighborhoods and civic institutions.
How does volunteering benefit students?
Volunteering helps the students acquire new skills and they become clearer regarding their career paths. They get to discover their interest and the profession they would want to pursue in future. For instance, a student who enjoys tutoring may be inspired to pursue a career in teaching or academia while a biology student volunteering at a clinic, might spark a strong passion for medical field. Continuous volunteering work is seen as sign of character, initiative and emotional intelligence.
Developing relationships with community and campus
Engaging with the community fosters a richer campus because it adds depth to the campus life. When students take on roles as tutors, nurses or media managers, they contribute with a lot of enthusiasm, supporting increased civic action and partnering with local organizations. Students also become aware about the issues of equity and justice.
Volunteering brings people of all backgrounds together, and students work with them to achieve their shared goals rather than working from a place of seniority or ownership.
